Austin first apprenticed under Brown Peanut in Seoul, South Korea, where he immersed himself in the culture of the country. Austin moved back to Vancouver BC after a year abroad where he continued apprenticing under Ron Smith at Adrenaline VanCity on Granville Street. His preferred style to tattoo is Japanese, but is versatile in many different styles such as traditional, fine line, and dot work.
